Year 5 and 6 were visited by STFC who spoke about gender equality in sport. We learnt some shocking facts about females in sport and the injustice of pay and opportunities.
We were also lucky enough to meet a real Ninja Warrior UK winner - Jonny Urszuly! Jonny showed off his strength in an assembly and set up a Ninja Warrior style obstacle course for us to try too!
Everybody had a wonderful time taking part in a wide range of workshops. It was such a great way to promote physical activity and allow children to experience an array of sports.
KS2 pupils used their leadership skills to plan and deliver sporting activities for EYFS/KS1 classes. It was great to see the children interact - everybody loved it!
