What a fabulous first week back and at long last some sunshine! This week we have been on a walk around our school grounds, made a rain gauge, painted coastal scenes and learnt how to open a word document to type our names and to say what we love about school!
In English this week we have practiced our days of the week and learnt about the suffix -er and -est! The children have worked very hard and their handwriting is beautiful! We have even been underlining our dates and titles!! :) Next week we will be writing a diary based on our book focus for the next few weeks 'Zog'.
In Maths, we have been exploring greater than and less than with numbers up to 100 and next week we will be exploring capacity and recapping addition.
